The five-capital system of Liao Dynasty refers to the five capital cities of Da Liao Dynasty, namely, Shangjing, Zhongjing, Tokyo, Nanjing and Xijing. These Kyoto are important political centers and cultural centers of the Liao Dynasty. The dual official system in the north and south is a special political system in the Liao Dynasty, which is divided into the northern official system and the southern official system.
