On July 2, 29, the National Standardization Administration issued a notice saying that the standard GB/T 23799-29 "Automotive Methanol Gasoline (M85)" was officially approved and promulgated, and it will be implemented on December 1.
M15 standard is still being worked out, but the industry welcomes it, because only after the introduction of this standard does it mean that methanol gasoline has a "qualified product" in the sense of national standards. Among them, the draft of the national standard of methanol gasoline for vehicles (M15) has been completed and will be submitted to the National Standards Committee for approval after discussion by experts.
M15 standard is a low blending standard, and it is also the first choice product with the most mature technology, the widest industrial demonstration and the largest scale substitution. Moreover, the storage, transportation and filling facilities of this product are the same as the systems currently used for refined oil, and there is no need to make major changes. Only under special circumstances, it needs to be slightly changed, but the cost is very small. Therefore, the introduction of "Automotive Methanol Gasoline (M15)" will promote the use of methanol gasoline in a greater sense.
in 29, Zhejiang province drafted and formulated three industry standards: methanol gasoline for vehicles (M15), methanol gasoline for vehicles (M3) and methanol gasoline for vehicles (M5).
