Calculation method of "service life" of retired soldiers: According to the second paragraph of Article 5 of the Regulations on Service of Soldiers in Active Service of China People's Liberation Army, the service life of soldiers is "calculated from the date when the military service organ approves the service life to the date when the army issues the retirement order".
